Frequently Asked Questions about First Aid and CPR Training

How long will it take to get my card/certificate?

Our courses are certified by the Emergency Care and Safety Institute and cards are usually sent through
their system within 24 hours of completing the course. We do not charge extra for 24 hour card service.

Can I take an online-only CPR class?

While other providers may offer online-only courses, we do not. We believe that hands-on training is
essential to being able to provide high quality CPR and first aid in emergency situations. Online-only
courses do not offer the quality of training that in-person live classes offer in these critical topics.

Will I get a certificate/card upon course completion?

Yes. Training and Educational Development LLC (the parent company of Denver CPR School) is an
authorized education center for the Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI) and all of our courses
come with an ECSI certification.

Is there a test?

Only our healthcare professional courses have a written test. Our first aid and CPR/AED courses do not
have a written test. However, there are practical skill exercises that students must pass to obtain
certification.

Are the CPR manikins clean and safe to use?

Yes. We have a rigorous manikin sanitation protocol involving multiple steps of disinfection.

Are group discounts available?

Yes. Substantial discounts are available for groups of 4 or more. Please contact us at 720-708-6087 for
group pricing.
