CPR and AED Certification for Adults, Children, and Infants

3.5 Hours ($40/person)

This course provides training on performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on adult, child, and infant patients. It also covers other important topics related to CPR, including:

  • Scene Size-Up
  • Seeking Professional Medical Care
  • Legal Aspects of First Aid
  • Preventing Disease Transmission
  • Checking a Person Appearing to be Unresponsive
  • Drug Emergencies
  • Heart Attack and Cardiac ArrestCPR (Adult and Child, Infant, and Compression-Only CPR)
  • Airway Obstructions
  • Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

The content of this course was developed by the Emergency Care and Safety Institute. It meets or exceeds the scientific recommendations developed by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) and is consistent with the CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Guidelines as established by the AHA and other resuscitation councils around the world.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a two-year certification from the Emergency Care and Safety Institute for CPR and AED (Adult/Child/Infant).
